Qualification-Graduate in any discipline is a must, diploma / post-graduation or relevant HR qualification is desirable.
Experience-Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in a relevant area.
Job Description-The selected candidate will manage the Director’s Secretariat including the office administration, correspondence handling, BoG meetings coordination, hospitality and travel coordination, external correspondence, office filing, Policy formulation & other allied administrative works. Duties of the person include but are not limited to the following –
  • Managing the appointments of CAO & Director.
  • Handling internal and external communication with Ministries and other Govt. offices.
  • Organizing board and other committee meetings including travel coordination, accommodation & logistics.
  • Preparing agenda and minutes of the meetings.
  • Managing the travel plan for external visits.
  • Develop and maintain efficient filing system for administration office, Administrative policies, compendium and other procedures.
  • Any other co-aligned matters assigned from time to time.
  • May have to travel occasionally for outstation events / meetings.

4) Post Name-Assistant Manager – HR

Qualification-Masters in HR is essential.
Experience-At least 5 years of post-qualification experience is essential. Experience in Autonomous Bodies or large Academic Institutions like IITs, IIMs or CFTIs is desirable.
Job Description-The person will lead the operations of HR department. Duties and responsibilities of the appointed person will include but are not limited to following:

  • Develop and implement the policies of HR department as per the applicable Central Govt norms, IIM Act and regulations of the institute.
  • Manpower planning.
  • Handling complete recruitment cycle – advertising, shortlisting, selection process and onboarding.
  • Prepare and maintain the service registers for IIM Nagpur employees.
  • Prepare, maintain and follow the reservations register & rosters of the institute for recruitment as per GOI instructions.
  • Develop the training and development modules for institute’s staff members and arrange the training sessions.
  • Handling salary bill preparation, allowances, increments and benefits.
  • Employee welfare activities.
  • Any other co-aligned matters assigned from time to time.
